Onboarding & Management

I only have an old printed guide. How do I get that into TheyStay?

Take a photo of the printed document and upload it to TheyStay. Our content generation tools will then scan the text out of the photo and build up your guide content!

Is it hard to set up TheyStay?

We've made this real simple. We know you are likely time poor so we have spent a lot of time making sure that this process is as quick and easy as it could possibly be. This includes creating a great baseline structure seeded with great content that you can then modify to suit your needs.

How do I update the contents of my TheyStay app?

Our UI experts have crafted highly functional yet beautifully simple interfaces for managing your TheyStay content, inventory, bookings, orders and users. In no time you can set up one-off or recurring items, make content changes, access reports and set up notifications. Don't forget, TheyStay AI will do a lot of the work generating content for you.

I don't have a lot of time. Is managing TheyStay easy?

Administrative efficiency has been one of our main development directions when building TheyStay. If we can't make it easy to manage we leave it out until we can find a way to ensure that it is.

What will I need to get started?

Not much! A cover photo that will appear on your entry screen and a logo if you have one (this is optional). Other than that, just 10 minutes of your time - TheyStay will take you through the rapid setup process.

Is there a discount if I pay annually instead of monthly?

Yes! If you choose to pay annually you will get 2 months free!

Do I need a credit card up front to start the free trial?

No we don't ask for a credit card to start your trial. As your trial comes to an end you will receive a prompt to pop one in if you would like to continue with TheyStay.

How does your billing work?

You can choose to pay per month or receive 2 months free by paying annually up front. You pay per guide created. The baseline TheyStay package gives you all the tools you need to build a beautiful guest guide. We also offer some optional addons that you may want to try. These range from ecommerce enabled shops, hire systems and activity/event management systems through to AI powered chatbots.

Do you have a free trial?

Yes we have a 30 day free trial. All options are available to try during this trial period. You will be blown away how fast you can get up and running (trust me)!

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

If you have chosen to sign up on a monthly plan then you can cancel at any time and TheyStay will finish at the end of the current paid month. If you are on an annual plan then cancellation of your membership will take place at the next annual renewal date.

TheyStay Addons

What exactly is an 'Addon'? Do I need them?

Out of the box TheyStay is an engaging, branded guide for your property and fantastic tool to promote local area attractions and businesses. 'Addons' extend this functionality with ecommerce enabled options like a kiosk, hire items and activity bookings. Further guest revenue awaits!

Is it easy manage the hire bookings?

Yes! We have worked closely with large caravan parks to ensure that our hire inventory management and booking systems are exactly what you need. No more bits of paper or spreadsheets for your hire management.

  • Create multiple session options - half-day, full-day, over-night, hourly - whatever you like.

How flexible is your activities management system?

Very flexible!
  • Set up weekly or monthly recurring dates, pick multiple random dates, have multiple sessions in a day, set blockout days
  • Set maximum attendee number & create single or even family ticket types
  • Automate notifications, generate activity booking lists.
  • Create activity shopping cart addons (chips & coke) and discount codes
  • Create payment lists to assist with reconciliation

Can I switch off certain addons at quiet times of the year?

Yes you can if you choose to sign up on a monthly plan. We know that many caravan/holiday parks may not run (for example) in-park activity bookings in quieter months. We don't want you to pay for something you don't need! Just edit your membership and switch it off for that period and turn it back on when you need it.

Guest Experience

How do my guests access the TheyStay app?

Your guests can access your TheyStay app in a number of possible ways. They can receive a pre-arrival email from your PMS with a link to access TheyStay or you may wish to print out QR codes (available via TheyStay admin) that will take your guests directly to TheyStay. Your guests will then be prompted to save TheyStay onto their device for easy access.

Do my guests need certain hardware?

Any mobile phone that runs Android or Apple iOS can run TheyStay.

What happens to TheyStay once the guest's stay is over?

Once your guest's stay has ended TheyStay will remain on their device (unless they choose to delete it) but will default to the re-booking workflow to encourage folks to stay with you again.
